1. Introduction
Nordcraft is dedicated to providing its customers with high-quality pontoon boats. Our comprehensive warranty reflects our confidence in the craftsmanship and durability of our products. This document outlines the terms and conditions of the warranty provided by Nordcraft for its pontoon boats.
2. Warranty Coverage
2.1 Ten-Year Structural Warranty:
Meticulously crafted with marine-grade materials and attention to detail, we ensure each vessel stands the test of time and elements. Because for us, quality is not just a feature, it is the cornerstone of the Nordcraft legacy that carries you confidently across the waves.
2.2 Five-Year Component Warranty:
Certain components of Nordcraft pontoon boats are warranted against material defects and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase. These components include, but are not limited to, the following:
2.3 Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Furniture, upholstery, and similar accessories.
Normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, accidents, or alterations.
Transportation costs for warranty service.
Any boat that has been used for commercial or rental purposes.
3. Warranty Transferability
This warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only and may not be transferred or assigned to subsequent owners.
4. Warranty Claims
4.1 To make a warranty claim, the owner must contact an authorized Nordcraft dealer or service center.
4.2 Proof of purchase and the boat's hull identification number must be presented at the time of service.
4.3 All warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized Nordcraft dealer or service center.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Nordcraft be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or use, incurred by the purchaser or any third party, whether in an action in contract or tort or based on a warranty, arising out of the use or inability to use the pontoon boat.
6. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the pontoon boat was purchased.
7. Modification of Terms
Nordcraft reserves the right to make changes to the warranty terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
